Diese Europäische Norm legt die Sicherheitsanforderungen an Fahrzeuge von Seilbahnen zur Personen-beförderung fest. Dabei werden die verschiedenen Typen von Seilbahnen und deren Umgebung berücksichtigt. Die vorliegende Europäische Norm beschreibt die Anforderungen, die während der Abziehversuche von Klemmen einzuhalten sind: - an Zug- oder Förderseilen von Fahrzeugen bei Ein- oder Zweiseilbahnen mit festen oder kuppelbaren Klemmen nach EN 13796-1:2017; - an Förderseilen von Schleppliften mit festen Klemmen nach EN 13796-1:2017. Sie gilt weder für Seilbahnen des Güterverkehrs noch für Aufzüge.
