Diese Europäische Norm legt die Sicherheitsanforderungen an Fahrzeuge von Seilbahnen für die Personenbeförderung fest. Sie ist anwendbar auf die verschiedenen Typen von Seilbahnen und berücksichtigt deren Umgebung. Die vorliegende Europäische Norm beschreibt die Anforderungen, die während der Ermüdungsversuche an Fahrzeugen von Einseilumlaufbahnen mit einem Fassungsvermögen von bis zu 16 Personen nach EN 13796-1:2017 einzuhalten sind. Sie gilt weder für Seilbahnen des Güterverkehrs noch für Aufzüge.
