Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für die Abnahmeprüfung von thermischen Spritzanlagen fest, in diesem Fall nur die den Unterdruck kontrollierenden Teile zum Plasmaspritzen im Vakuum und in kontrollierter Atmosphäre, wie sie bei Spritzarbeiten zur Herstellung von thermisch gespritzten Schichten mit reproduzierbarer Qualität verwendet werden. Dieser Teil ist dazu vorgesehen, in Verbindung mit EN 1395-1, welcher allgemeine Anforderungen und Erklärungen von Vorgehensweisen beinhaltet, angewendet zu werden. Es ist beabsichtigt, dass die Abnahmeprüfung für das Plasmaspritzsystem selbst nach EN 1395-4 erfolgt.
