Dieses Dokument legt die besonderen Anforderungen an geschmiedetes Aluminium und Aluminiumknetlegierungen in Form von bandbeschichteten Blechen und Bändern für allgemeine Anwendungen fest. Dieses Produkt wird allgemein in Dicken von bis zu 3,0 mm geliefert. Es ist anwendbar für kaltgewalzte Bänder aus Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen, die durch ein Bandbeschichtungsverfahren mit Flüssigkeit sowie Pulverlacken in der Endbreite beschichtet oder anschließend geschlitzt werden, und für aus solchen Bändern hergestellte Bleche. Es ist nicht anwendbar für bandbeschichtete Bleche und Bänder für spezielle Anwendungen wie etwa Dosen, Verschlüsse und Deckel, die separat in EN 541 behandelt werden.
