Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Spachtelmaterialien und Fugendeckstreifen aus Papier zum Verspachteln von Fugen, die an den Kanten und an den Enden von Gipsplatten nach EN 520, Gipsplatten-Produkten aus der Weiterverarbeitung nach EN 14190, Gipsplatten-Wandbaufertigtafeln mit einem Kartonwabenkern nach EN 13915, Gips-Verbundplatten zur Wärme- und Schalldämmung nach EN 13950, Hohlkehlleisten aus kartonummanteltem Gips nach EN 14209 und faserverstärkten Gipsplatten nach EN 15283-1 und EN 15283-2 entstehen, fest. Fugendeckstreifen aus einem anderen Material als Papier werden von dieser Europäischen Norm nicht erfasst. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für die Eigenschaften Brandverhalten und Biegezugfestigkeit, die nach den in diesem Dokument angegebenen Prüfverfahren zu ermitteln sind.
