Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Gehaltes von Phosphor mit Hilfe der Emissionsspektrometrie mit induktiv gekoppeltem Plasma (ICP) im Bereich von 4 mg/kg bis 20 mg/kg in Fettsäure-Methylestern, nachfolgend als FAME bezeichnet, fest. Die Anwendung dieses Verfahrens dient dazu, die Qualität des FAME zu beurteilen, bezüglich der aus dem Veresterungsprozess entstehenden Nebenprodukte wie Phosphor, dessen Konzentration die Kraftstoffqualität beeinflussen kann. WARNUNG - Die Anwendung dieses Verfahrens kann den Einsatz gefährlicher Stoffe, Arbeitsgänge und Geräte mit sich bringen. Diese Norm gibt nicht vor, alle mit ihrer Anwendung verbundenen Sicherheitsprobleme anzusprechen. Der Anwender dieser Norm ist dafür verantwortlich, vorher angemessene Maßnahmen zu ergreifen und die Anwendbarkeit einschränkender Vorschriften zu ermitteln.
