Dieses Dokument legt ein titrimetrisches Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Iodzahl von Fettsäure-Methylestern, nachfolgend FAME genannt, fest. Die Präzisionsangabe dieses Prüfverfahrens wurde in einem Ringversuch mit Iodzahlen im Bereich 111 g Iod/100 g bis 129 g Iod/100 g bestimmt. Dieses Prüfverfahren ist auch anzuwenden für niedrigere Iodzahlen, die Präzisionsangabe ist jedoch nicht für Iodzahlen unter 111 g Iod/100 g festgelegt.
