Diese Europäische Norm legt die Mindestanforderungen an Auslegung, Bau und Herstellungsprüfungen von ortsbeweglichen wiederbefüllbaren geschweißten Flaschen aus Stahl für Flüssiggas (LPG, en: Liquefied Petroleum Gas) mit einem Fassungsraum von 0,5 l bis einschließlich 150 l fest, die Umgebungstemperaturen ausgesetzt werden. Sie erlaubt alternative Auslegungs- und Bauverfahren im Vergleich zu den in EN 1442 geforderten. Diese Europäische Norm gilt ausschließlich für Flaschen mit einem runden Querschnitt.
