Teil 4 dieser Europäischen Norm beschreibt eine Auswahl von Vor-Ort-Prüfverfahren für Abzüge, die nach Teil 2 der Norm konstruiert sind und die entweder nach Teil 3 der Norm baumustergeprüft oder ohne Baumusterprüfung sind; ebenso für Allgebrauchsabzüge, die nach Teil 2 der Norm konstruiert sind und unter nutzerspezifischen Bedingungen betrieben werden, zB für den Umgang mit sehr giftigen Substanzen oder mit großvolumiger Ausrüstung im Abzugsinneren.
