Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Trocknungsqualität fest. Sie gilt für ein Los getrocknetes Schnittholz (oberflächenbearbeitet oder nicht). Sie gilt für Nadelholz und Laubholz mit einer Dicke bis 100 mm. Die Trocknungsqualität wird angegeben als Feuchtegehalt: Soll-Feuchte (Zielfeuchte) und Ist-Feuchte (mittlere Holzfeuchte) des Loses und der Streuung zwischen den Stücken des Loses. Außerdem wird die Angabe des Verschalungsgrades beschrieben.
