Sie gibt eine Anleitung zur Konformitätsbewertung der Produkte in Bezug auf die Anforderungen dieser Norm. Diese Europäische Norm ist nicht anwendbar auf Mehrschichtparkettelemente mit einer Deckschichtdicke von mindestens 2,5 mm. Für diese Produkte gilt EN 13489.
