Dieses Dokument legt den Anwendungsbereich, die maßlichen, physikalisch-chemischen, Auslegungs-, hydraulischen, mechanischen und akustischen Eigenschaften der Rohrleitungsbelüfter Familie D, Typ A fest. Dieses Dokument gilt ausschließlich für Rohrleitungsbelüfter Familie D, Typ A, die zur Verhütung von Trinkwasserverunreinigungen durch Rückfließen, verursacht durch Rücksaugen, vorgesehen sind. Es gilt für Rohrleitungsbelüfter der Bezeichnungen DN 10 bis DN 50. Es behandelt Rohrleitungsbelüfter mit PN 10, die ohne Abänderung oder Nachstellung funktionsfähig sind: - bei Druckwerten, bis 1 MPa (10 bar); - bei Druckschwankungen, bis 1 MPa (10 bar); - im Dauerbetrieb bei einer Grenztemperatur von 65 °C und für maximal 1 h bei 90 °C. Es legt zudem die Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen zur Verifizierung ihrer Eigenschaften, der Kennzeichnung und der Bereitstellung bei der Auslieferung fest.
