Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an die Ausrüstung von ober- oder unterirdischen Druckbehältern für Flüssiggas (LPG, en: Liquefied Petroleum Gas) mit einem Fassungsraum bis einschließlich 13 m3 fest, die nach EN 12542 oder gleichwertigen Festlegungen hergestellt und einer hydraulischen Prüfung unterzogen wurden. Die von dieser Europäischen Norm erfasste Ausrüstung ist direkt an den Anschlüssen des Druckbehälters befestigt. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für die Ausrüstung von Depot-Lagerbehältern und von Druckbehältern für die Lagerung tiefkalter Gase.
