Es ist anwendbar für neue Vignolschienen der Stahlsorte R200, R220, R260, R260Mn, R320Cr, R350HT, R350LHT, R370CrHT und R400HT mit einer längenbezogenen Masse ab 46 kg/m, wie in EN 13674-1:2011+A1:2017 behandelt, die durch eine mobile Anlage mit einem Abbrennstumpfschweißprozess verschweißt werden und für die Verwendung in der Eisenbahninfrastruktur vorgesehen sind. Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar bei der Herstellung von Langschienen.
