Dieses Dokument gilt für Blendrahmen und Wettertüren für Wetterbauwerke, die nach Durchlauf von Explosionen mit Überdrücken bis 2 bar funktionsfähig bleiben. Derartige Wetterbauwerke sind Schutzsysteme zur Sicherstellung der Wetterführung nach Explosionen, so dass die Auswirkungen von Explosionen auf die Wetterführung in Grenzen gehalten werden können und ausreichende Möglichkeiten für Flucht und Rettung bestehen bleiben. ANMERKUNG Derartige Wetterbauwerke werden eingesetzt, wenn wettertechnische Untersuchungen zeigen, dass im Falle der Zerstörung des Bauwerks der Wetterstrom am Arbeitsplatz erheblich reduziert wird, so dass eine sichere Flucht für die Belegschaft nicht mehr möglich ist. Die Wetterbauwerke werden einzeln hinsichtlich der Richtungsstabilität der Wetterströme sowie zur Sicherstellung eines ausreichenden Wetterstromes bewertet.
