Diese Europäische Norm gilt für künstlich hergestellte Steine, die mit Klebstoff an Wänden und auf Fußböden zu verlegen sind. Die Prüfung wird hauptsächlich vorgenommen, um das Material entsprechend dem Grad der Empfindlichkeit gegenüber Wasser zu klassifizieren und um einen geeigneten Klebstoff für die Verlegung der künstlich hergestellten Steine auszuwählen.
