Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Gehaltes und der mittleren molaren Masse von Natriumdodecylsulfat, das als Urtitersubstanz für die Bestimmung des Titers von Maßlösungen für die Titration von grenzflächenaktiven Stoffen eingesetzt wird, fest.
