Diese Europäische Norm legt die Terminologie, Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Metallrollen, Bänder und Flachbleche sowie werkmäßig hergestellte Stücke fest, die für vollflächig unterstützte Dachdeckungs- und Wandbekleidungsanwendungen geliefert werden. Die Norm gilt nicht für Produkte, die auf der Baustelle hergestellt werden. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für vollflächig unterstützte Produkte aus Aluminium, Kupfer, Blei, Stahl, nicht-rostendem Stahl und Zink mit oder ohne Beschichtungen, die z. B. metallisch, organisch, anorganisch oder mehrschichtig sein können (siehe Anhang A).
