Dieses Dokument legt allgemeine Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Verfahren zur Identifikation von Abfallsammelbehältern und/oder zur Mengenbestimmung von Abfall und anderen wiederverwendbaren Materialien fest, wobei Folgendes eingeschlossen ist: - Sicherheitsanforderungen; - Anforderungen an Schnittstellen und Leistungsmerkmale; - zu bearbeitende Daten sowie deren Vollständigkeit. Dieses Dokument ist auf Systeme für die Handhabung von Behältern nach der Normenreihe EN 840 anwendbar. Obwohl dieses Dokument nur Systeme für die Behälter nach der Normenreihe EN 840 abdeckt, wird dazu angeregt, die Anforderungen dieses Dokuments so weit wie möglich auch auf andere Systeme anzuwenden. Dieses Dokument ist auf Systeme mit und ohne Gebührenerfassung anwendbar.
