Diese Norm beinhaltet Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Abgasanlagen mit Abgasleitungen und Zuluftschächte für Gasfeuerstätten der Typen C6. Diese Norm beinhaltet Anforderungen an Abmessungen, Werkstoffe und Prüfverfahren. Empfehlungen für Vorzugswerte für die Abmessungen der Produkte sind in Anhang A aufgeführt. In dieser Norm sind bezüglich Elastomer- und Kunststoffbauteilen nur allgemeine Anforderungen festgelegt worden. Spezifische Normen für Elastomer- und Kunst- stoffbauteile in Abgasanlagen sind in prEN 14241-1 in Vorbereitung. Sie legt ebenfalls Anforderungen an die Kennzeichnung, an Herstelleranleitungen, Produktinformationen und an ein Konformi-tätsbeurteilungssystem fest.
