Diese Europäische Norm gibt eine Anleitung und definiert, falls zutreffend, Verfahren für Änderungen von bestimmten Parametern und Faktoren, die mit der Bemessung von tragenden Innen- und Außenwänden im Zusammenhang stehen und nach EN 1365-1 geprüft wurden. Daten aus bereits vorliegenden Feuerwiderstandsprüfungen dürfen als unterstützende Informationen verwendet werden. Mauersteine, die nach EN 771-5 aus Beton und nach EN 771-6 aus Naturstein gefertigt wurden, sind nicht abgedeckt. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für bewehrtes Mauerwerk.
