Diese Europäische Norm legt die Ausführung, Maße und Kennzeichnung von metallummantelten Dichtungen mit Auflage für Flansche nach EN 1092-1 für PN 2,5, PN 6, PN 10, PN 16, PN 25, PN 40, PN 63 und PN 100 bis einschlie ßlich DN 900 fest. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für metallummantelte Dichtungen mit Auflage für Wärmeaustauscher mit Trennwandstegen oder große Behälterdichtungen, falls jedoch für diese Dichtungen kein eigenes Dokument vorliegt, können die hier festgelegten Prinzipien angewendet werden. ANMERKUNG 1 Die Maße für andere Dichtungsformen für Flansche nach EN 1092-1, EN 1092-2, EN 1092-3, und EN 1092-4 sind in EN 1514-1, EN 1514-2, EN 1514-3, EN 1514-4, EN 1514-6 und prEN 1514-8 enthalten. ANMERKUNG 2 Anhang A enthält Angaben, die der Anwender bei der Bestellung von Dichtungen machen sollte, wenn die Auswahl der für den Anwendungsfall geeigneten Dichtungswerkstoffe dem Lieferer überlassen bleibt.
