Diese Europäische Norm gibt eine Anleitung und definiert, falls zutreffend Verfahren für Änderungen von bestimmten Parametern und Faktoren, die mit dem Entwurf von feuerwiderstandsfähigen Innen- und Außenwänden aus Mauerziegeln, Kalksandsteinen, Mauersteinen aus Beton, Porenbetonsteinen und Gips-Wandbauplatten zusammen mit verschiedenen Mörtelarten in Verbindung stehen. Diese Wände wurden nach EN 1364-1 geprüft. Wände aus Mauerwerkssteinen nach EN 771-5 werden nicht abgedeckt.
