Dieses Dokument enthält eine Anleitung für Änderungen bestimmter Parameter und Faktoren, die die Gestaltung von nach EN 1364-1 geprüften und nach EN 13501-2 klassifizierten leichten Trennwänden betreffen. Weiterhin definiert dieses Dokument, sofern zutreffend, die entsprechenden Verfahren. Dieses Dokument gilt nur für nichttragende leichte Trennwände mit einem Einfachständerwerk aus Stahl, das auf beiden Seiten des Stahlständerwerks mit einer Beplankung versehen ist. Der Hohlraum der leichten Trennwand kann über eine Wärmedämmung aus Mineralwolle verfügen. Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für jegliche anderen, in EN 1364-1 behandelten Arten von nichttragenden leichten Trennwänden.
