Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Partikelgrößenverteilung von festen Sekundärbrennstoffen durch ein maschinelles oder manuelles Siebverfahren fest. Es gilt für agglomeriertes und nicht agglomeriertes Schüttgut aus Brennstoffen, wie z. B. Flusen, Pellets, Briketts, pulverisierte feste Sekundärbrennstoffe. Dieses Siebverfahren ist nicht bei großen Stücken mit unregelmäßiger Form, wie z. B. Stücken von geschredderten Reifen oder von Abbruchholz, anwendbar. Im Fall von großen Stücken mit unregelmäßiger Form gelten prEN 15415-2 und prEN 15415-3.
