Diese Europäische Norm legt die Klassifizierungskriterien von Geräten für den Straßenbetriebsdienst fest, die im Anwendungsbereich von EN 15436-1 beschrieben und für folgende Tätigkeiten genutzt werden: - Mäharbeiten und Entfernung von Gestrüpp; - mechanisches Schneiden von Pflanzen. Die vorgenannten Geräte sind auf Trägerfahrzeugen mit Eigenantrieb montiert und sind einerseits dafür vor-gesehen Gras zu mähen und Gestrüpp zu verkleinern, und andererseits Bäume oder junge, unbeschnittene Bäume und Sträucher in Straßenrandbereichen zu schneiden. Die Anwendung dieses Dokumentes ist in Verbindung mit EN 15436-2 vorgesehen.
