Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für die Untersuchung aquatischer Makrophyten in Seen, hauptsächlich zur Bewertung des ökologischen Zustands als biologisches Qualitätselement fest. Die hier gegebenen Informationen schließen die Zusammensetzung und die Häufigkeit aquatischer Makrophytenflora ein. Für eine vollständige Bewertung des ökologischen Zustands sollten auch andere biologische Qualitätselemente bewertet werden.
