Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Natrium, Magnesium und Calcium in Lebensmitteln mit Flammen-Atomabsorptionsspektrometrie (AAS) nach Mikrowellenaufschluss fest. Die Präzision des Verfahrens wurde durch Ringversuche ermittelt. Das Verfahren ist für die Bestimmung von Natrium bei einer Konzentration von mindestens 1500 mg/kg Trockensubstanz, Magnesium von mindestens 250 mg/kg Trockensubstanz und Calcium von mindestens 2000 mg/kg Trockensubstanz geeignet. Das Verfahren ist nicht auf Weizenkleie anwendbar.
