Mit diesem Verfahren kann auch d-Biocytin bewertet werden. Aber keine der Proben für den Validationsschritt enthält d-Biocytin. Dennoch beträgt die Wiederfindungsrate für d-Biotin und d-Biocytin mehr als 90 %.
