Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Oxidationsstabilität von Kraftstoff für Dieselmotoren mittels Messung der Induktionszeit des Kraftstoffs bis zu 48 h fest. Dieses Verfahren gilt für Fettsäuremethylester (FAME), welche zur Anwendung als reine Biokraftstoffe oder als Blendkomponente für Dieselkraftstoffe gedacht sind, und für Mischungen von FAME mit Dieselkraftstoff, die mindestens 2 % (V/V) FAME enthalten.
