Diese Europäische Norm legt die optischen und mechanischen Eigenschaften sowie die Maß- und Beständigkeitseigenschaften von homogenen Bahnen aus weichmacherhaltigem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-P) mit einer Nenndicke von mindestens 0,75 mm fest, die als Abdichtung für erdverlegte Schwimmbäder eingesetzt werden. Weiterhin legt es die Beschaffenheitsmerkmale des für die Herstellung der Bahnen verwendeten PVC-P fest. Es gilt besonders für homogene Bahnen, die für den Einsatz in Schwimmbädern mit einer Wassertemperatur kleiner gleich 28 °C vorgesehen sind. Dieses Dokument gilt auch, wenn der Bahnenhersteller eine Wassertemperatur, die über 28 °C fortlaufend aufrechterhalten wird, zulässt.
