Diese Norm beschreibt die Grenzabmaße und Formtoleranzen von HF-geschweißten Rundrohren mit einem Durchmesser bis 80 mm und einer Wanddicke bis 2,5 mm. Diese Rohre werden aus kaltgewalztem Aluminiumlegierungsband hergestellt, das kontinuierlich durch einen Stromdurchgang zwischen den beiden gegenüberliegenden Kanten ohne Einsatz von Schweißzusatzwerkstoffen längsnahtgeschweißt wird. Sie gilt auch für Rohre aus vorlackiertem, vorbeschichtetem oder voranodisiertem Aluminiumlegierungsband.
