Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Extraktion von wasserlöslichem Calcium, Magnesium, Natrium und Schwefel (in Form von Sulfat) fest, bei dem derselbe Extrakt für die Bestimmung jedes erforderlichen Nährstoffes verwendet werden kann. Das Verfahren gilt ausschließlich für in der Verordnung (EG) 2003/2003, Anhang I [2] aufgeführte Düngemittel, für die die Angabe des wasserlöslichen Calciums, Magnesiums, Natriums und Schwefels (in Form von Sulfat) vorgeschrieben ist.
