Diese Europäische Norm legt Sicherheitsanforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für Sitzerhöhungen für Stühle fest, die an einem Stuhl für Erwachsene zu positionieren und dafür vorgesehen sind, die Sitzposition eines Kindes im Alter von bis zu 36 Monaten oder mit einem Höchstgewicht von 15 kg, das ohne Unterstützung sitzen kann, anzuheben. Die Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Kissen, Polster und Produkte, die nur darauf abzielen, das Kind auf einem Stuhl zurückzuhalten, ohne dessen Sitzposition zu erhöhen.
