Diese Europäische Norm definiert die Bau- und Betriebseigenschaften, die Sicherheitsanforderungen und die Prüfverfahren und die Kennzeichnung von Druckregelgeräten und automatischen Umschaltventilen mit einem höchsten Ausgangsdruck bis einschließlich 4 bar und einem Durchfluss bis einschließlich 150 kg/h für Butan, Propan oder deren Gemische in der Dampfphase. Diese Europäische Norm gilt ebenso für die in Druckregeleinrichtungen nach dieser Norm integrierte Sicherheitseinrichtungen. Die Eigenschaften dieser Sicherheitseinrichtungen sind in den Anhängen A und B beschrieben.
