Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Selen in Futtermitteln mittels Atomabsorptionsspektrometrie-Hydridtechnik (en:Hydride Generation Atomic Absorption Spectrometry, HGAAS) nach Mikrowellen-Druckaufschluss fest. Die Bestimmungsgrenze beträgt 0,5 mikrogramm/l Prüflösung. Bei Verwendung einer Prüfmenge von 0,5 g und einem Volumen der Prüflösung von 25 ml nach dem Druckaufschluss beträgt die berechnete Bestimmungsgrenze 0,125 mg/kg Probe.
