Dieser Teil der Europäischen Norm legt die Mindestangaben für Gewebe fest, die zur Herstellung von Produkten aus Verbundwerkstoffen und auch aus getränkten Werkstoffen verwendet werden. Die Festlegungen gelten nicht für diese Produkte selbst. Diese spezifischen Anforderungen an die Deklaration ergänzen die in Teil 1 dieser Norm (d. h. EN 16245-1) angegebenen allgemeinen Anforderungen. Dieses Dokument enthält Anforderungen an das Analysenzertifikat (en: CoA = Certificate of Analysis). Zweck des CoA ist es zu verifizieren, dass die Werkstoffeigenschaften und die Qualität den angegebenen Werten entsprechen. Dieser Teil der Norm gilt für uniaxiale und multiaxiale Gewebe.
