Diese Europäische Norm ist Teil einer Europäischen Normenreihe. Die Norm stellt unter Berücksichtigung der Funktionalität und der technischen Merkmale eines Gebäudes spezielle Verfahren und Anforderungen für die Bewertung der sozialen Qualität eines Gebäudes zur Verfügung. Diese Europäische Norm kann auf alle Arten von Gebäuden, sowohl neu gebaute als auch vorhandene, angewendet werden. In dieser Erstfassung der Norm konzentriert sich die soziale Dimension der Nach-haltigkeit auf die Bewertung von Aspekten und Auswirkungen während der Nutzungsphase eines Gebäudes, wobei die folgenden Kategorien der sozialen Qualität (nach EN 15643-3) verwendet werden: - Zugänglichkeit; - Anpassungsfähigkeit; - Gesundheit und Behaglichkeit; - Auswirkungen auf benachbarte Bereiche (Nachbarschaft); - Inspektion/ Wartung/ Reinigung/ Instandsetzung (Instandhaltung); - Sicherheit/Schutz.
