Diese werden im Bereich der Heiz- und Kühltechnik an folgenden hydraulischen Verbindungsstellen eingesetzt: Verbindung zwischen Heizkörpern oder Heizkreisverteilern zum jeweiligen Rohr. Eine andere Verbindungsstelle ist beim Heizkörper mit integrierten Ventilgarnituren die Verschraubung zum Hahnblock oder direkt zur Verschraubung. Diese Europäische Norm legt die Maße für den Einzelanschluss und Doppelanschluss fest.
