Dieses Dokument legt ein Referenzverfahren zur Bestimmung der Emissionen von Beschichtungen in die Innenraumluft fest. Das Verfahren ist für flüchtige organische Verbindungen, schwerflüchtige organische Verbindungen und flüchtige Aldehyde anwendbar. Dieses Dokument ist hauptsächlich für die Bestimmung von Emissionsdaten in der Innenraumluft bestimmt, um nationaler Gesetzgebung zu entsprechen, und für die freiwillige Kennzeichnung von Produkten. Dieses Dokument gilt für Beschichtungen für Innenräume, wie in Abschnitt 5 aufgelistet. Es gilt nicht für: - Beschichtungen, die außerhalb des Geländes oder vor Ort angewandt werden, bevor die Struktur dauerhaft wetterbeständig ist, mit Ausnahme von Produkttypen der Kategorie 7, die in Abschnitt 5 aufgelistet sind; - Farbpasten, die noch nicht für den Einsatz als Beschichtung geeignet sind; - nicht filmbildende Produkte wie z. B. Wachse und Imprägnierungen.
