Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Werkstoffe, Abmessungen und die Leistungsfähigkeit von geraden Luft-Abgas-Systemen aus Beton fest, welche aus einem Betoninnenrohr, einem Verbrennungsluftschacht und einer Kombination von aufeinander abgestimmten Abgasanlagenbauteilen bestehen, bei denen es sich um Betonformblöcke (siehe Abschnitt 4) handeln kann, die von einem Hersteller bezogen oder definiert werden, der die Produkthaftung für die gesamte Abgasanlage übernimmt. Die Europäische Norm gilt nicht für hinterlüftete System-Abgasanlagen aus Beton. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Produkte, die in Verbindung mit Korrosionswiderstandsklasse 3 mit feucht (W) gekennzeichnet sind. Diese Europäische Norm gilt außerdem für System-Abgasanlagen aus Beton, die aus geschosshohen Elementen und mit einer Transportbewehrung versehenen Formblöcken gebaut sind. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für baulich unabhängige (freistehende oder selbsttragende) System-Abgasanlagen.
