Dieses Dokument legt die Konstruktion und die Maße für ein 29-mm-Schraubverschlussmundstück mit drei (3) Gewindegängen für stilles Wasser und kohlensäurefreie Getränke fest. Dieses Dokument gilt für Verschlussmundstücke als PET-Verschlussmundstücke 29/25 (12,6). Das Maß (12,6) ist die Höhe, in Millimeter, von der Oberkante des Verschlussmundstückes bis zur Unterseite des Halsstützrings. Dieses Verschlussmundstück kann zur aseptischen Befüllung und zur Befüllung mithilfe von Stickstoffdruck verwendet werden, wobei der innere Überdruck 1 bar nicht überschreiten darf. Dieses Verschlussmundstück ist dafür ausgelegt, ausschließlich Kunststoffverschlüsse mit Originalitätssicherung einschließlich Varianten mit Anbindungselement aufzunehmen.
