Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Siliko-Calciumstaub (SCF), das als Nebenprodukt des carbothermischen Prozesses zur Herstellung von Siliko-Calcium-Legierungen anfällt. Diese Europäische Norm enthält Anforderungen an die chemischen und physikalischen Eigenschaften, die SCF besitzen muss, um als Typ-II-Zusatzstoff für Beton nach EN 206 oder in Mörteln, Einpressmörteln und anderen Mischgütern verwendet werden zu können. Darüber hinaus enthält diese Europäische Norm Konformitätskriterien und die dazugehörigen Regeln. Diese Europäische Norm enthält keine Regeln für die Verwendung von SCF in Beton. Einige allgemeine Regeln zur Verwendung von Typ-II-Zusatzstoffen sind in EN 206 festgelegt.
