Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung von 7 polycyclischen aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen (PAK) in Gesamtwasserproben fest. Das Verfahren verwendet Festphasenextraktions-Scheiben (SPE-Disk, en: solid-phase extraktion disk) in Kombination mit Gaschromatographie Massenspektrometrie (GC-MS). Die Norm gilt für die Analyse von PAK in Oberflächenwasser, mit einem Schwebstoffanteil bis zu 500 mg/l (Gesamtwasserproben), Trinkwasser und Grundwasser.
