Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für die Rundumsicht (360°) von motorkraftbetriebenen Gegengewichtstaplern mit Fahrersitz und geländegängigen Staplern mit Mast (nachfolgend als "Flurförderzeuge" bezeichnet) mit einer Nenntragfähigkeit kleiner oder gleich 10 000 kg in Übereinstimmung mit ISO 5053-1 fest und ist in Verbindung mit EN 16842-1 anzuwenden. Wenn spezifische Anforderungen in diesem Teil von den allgemeinen Anforderungen in EN 16842-1 abweichen, sind die Anforderungen in diesem Teil für das Flurförderzeug spezifisch und für motorkraftbetriebene Gegengewichtstapler mit Fahrersitz und geländegängige Stapler mit Mast mit einer Nenntragfähigkeit kleiner oder gleich 10 000 kg anzuwenden. Dieser Teil von EN 16842 behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen oder Gefährdungsereignisse, die für die Sichtverhältnisse des Bedieners bei vorgesehener Nutzung der betreffenden Maschinen unter normalen Umständen durch den Hersteller vorhersehbaren Fehlanwendungen relevant sind.
