Dieses Dokument legt die Grundlagen von Planung, Bemessung, Einbau, Kennzeichnung, Inbetriebnahme und Wartung von Grauwassernutzungsanlagen für die Verwendung von Grauwasser vor Ort fest. Sie ist insbesondere anwendbar für die Nutzung von behandeltem Grauwasser zur: - WC-Spülung; - Gartenbewässerung; - Reinigung von Wäsche; - Reinigung von Gegenständen. Dieses Dokument legt auch die Mindestanforderungen an Grauwassersysteme fest. Vom Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments ausgenommen sind: - die Verwendung als Trinkwasser und zur Zubereitung von Speisen; - die Verwendung für die Körperhygiene; - direkte Anwendungssysteme ohne Aufbereitung; - Produktdesign für spezifische Systembestandteile; - industrielles Schmutzwasser; - Wärmerückgewinnung und Kühlzwecke.
