Dieses Dokument legt einheitliche Etiketten für in Verkehr gebrachte flüssige und gasförmige Kraftstoffe fest. Die Anforderungen dieses Dokuments erfüllen den Informationsbedarf der Verbraucher in Bezug auf die Kompatibilität zwischen Kraftstoffen und Fahrzeugen, die in Verkehr gebracht werden. Das Etikett ist dafür vorgesehen, so an Zapfeinrichtungen, Tankeinrichtungen, Fahrzeugen, im Kraftfahrzeughandel und in Verbraucherhandbüchern sichtbar dargestellt zu werden, wie es in diesem Dokument beschrieben ist. In Verkehr gebrachte Kraftstoffe umfassen beispielsweise mineralöl-basierte Kraftstoffe, synthetische Kraftstoffe, Biokraftstoffe, Erdgas, LPG (en: liquefied petroleum gas), Wasserstoff und Biogas sowie Gemische der genannten Kraftstoffe für mobile Anwendung. ANMERKUNG Für die Zwecke dieses Dokuments wird zur Angabe des Massenanteils einer Substanz µ der Ausdruck ż% (m/m)ż und für den Volumenanteil einer Substanz f der Ausdruck ż% (V/V)ż verwendet.
