Dieses Dokument beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren zur Leistungsbewertung photokatalytischer Werkstoffe bei der Wasserreinigung durch Messung des Phenolabbaus. Das Prüfverfahren findet Anwendung bei photokatalytischen Werkstoffen in Form von Pulvern (Suspensionen in Wasser, Schlämme) bei UV-Einstrahlung. Die photokatalytische Leistung des geprüften Werkstoffes wird durch die beobachtete Phenolabbaugeschwindigkeit unter festgelegten Versuchsbedingungen mittels HPLC beurteilt.
