Zur Unterstützung des Verbrauchers bei seiner Auswahl enthält dieses Dokument ein Klassifizierungssystem (siehe EN ISO 10874) auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wofür diese Bodenbeläge zufriedenstellend eingesetzt werden können. Dieses Dokument legt auch die Anforderungen zur Kennzeichnung fest.
