Für runde Flansche aus Aluminiumlegierungen, die nach Class bezeichnet werden, sind die Anforderungen und die verschiedenen Flanschtypen festgelegt. Die Festlegungen beziehen sich auf den Nennweitenbereich DN 15 bis DN 600 (NPS 1/2 bis NPS 24) sowie auf die Druckstufen Class 150 bis Class 300. Im Detail geregelt sind die unterschiedlichen Dichtflächen, die Abmessungen der Flansche, die Schraubenanzahl und -dimensionen sowie die notwendigen Toleranzangaben. Weiters ist die Kennzeichnung sowie die zugehörige Druck/Temperatur-Zuordnung entsprechend den Werkstoffen beschrieben. Im Anhang sind die errechneten Massen für die Flansche angegeben. Eine Gegenüberstellung von metrischen und Imperial-Schrauben ist enthalten.
